Hello, and thank you so much for joining us here! Our Art is Play journal will serve as a place to gather and curate ideas and inspiration for educators and caregivers of all kinds, spotlight people and places making time and space for children’s creativity and their own, expand on our approach to creative learning through play, and connect our community with sparks of joy and possibility in the field of education.
We see this journal as a place to not only share ideas and answer questions about our approach to art and play and our own creative practices, but also experiences, people, and spaces that embody our core principles that children are capable and full of good ideas, creativity belongs in classrooms, and art is play and play is learning. This is a place to connect and create together. You’ll hear from us, our colleagues, and creative friends all over the world who prioritize creativity and play every day in big and small ways.
